This makes complete sense in order to protect the public and savelives. If you have a true SEVERE dental emergency such as:

a large infection causing swelling, difficulty breathing, or swallowing
or severe dental pain which is keeping you awake at night time and isconstant
or trauma which has resulted in loose or lost adult teeth
