Implant treatment benefits
Missing teeth affect a person’s appearance, their ability to speak and chew, and their general dental health. Many options exist for the replacement of lost teeth it is always recommended that a missing tooth be replaced as not only will it improve your smile but also the health of your jaw.
A dental implant is a small but strong post used in place of a missing tooth root. They're small metal screws that are placed in the jaw so that crowns, bridges and dentures can be fixed onto them. Implants can be used for a wide range of treatment, one implant can act as a support base for fixing an individual crown, two implants can replace three or four missing teeth using a dental bridge or multiple implants can be used for an entire dental prosthesis, replacing all the teeth in your mouth!
Single Implant
If you have a single missing tooth, a single implant is the best solution for you. A single titanium implant is placed into the bone and allowed to heal for 12 weeks. Once healed an impression is taken of the area and a custom made abutment and cosmetic crown are made to fit onto the implant. This dental implant crown should function and feel just like your own tooth.
Multiple Implants
The number of dental implants required depends on a number of factors individual to each patient. We advise a consultation in order to determine this. More than one missing tooth can lead to a large gap in your mouth. Multiple dental implants can be placed to restore the gap. This can be as a combination of single implants and cosmetic crowns or a cosmetic bridge connecting implants together.
Implant Supported Denture
Do you struggle wearing your denture? Does it cause difficulty in eating and speaking? Dental implants can be placed in order to secure your denture into position this uses 2-4 implants in the lower jaw and 4 implants in the upper jaw. The denture can then be secured into position when needed and removed to clean with ease.

Positioned at precise angles the All on 4 implants are able to provide optimum support for the arch and complete stabilization for your new bridge.
